Easy Summer Skin

A few weeks ago I put up an Instagram story demonstrating my goof-proof summer skin routine. Many of you requested that I write down step-by-step instructions with a list of products I used or suggestions of products to try so you too can achieve the same look. If you'd like to see a video demonstration of what I'm about to write, head on over to my Instagram account and check the archives, it will be there waiting for you!

Here are the products you will need:

-A tinted moisturizer, BB or CC Cream (I used Bobbi Brown CC Cream [discontinued], but MAC has a great BB Cream, as does Bare Minerals and a lot of drug store brands as well. BB/CC Creams offer SPF where typically tinted moisturizers do not.)

-Your favorite foundation (I used MAC Studio Fix Fluid, but you might

also love MAC's Prolongwear Concealer. It is waterproof and a little bit goes a really long way!)

-Beauty Sponge (I used my Real Techniques Sponge)

-Setting Powder (I used RCMA Translucent Powder)

-Bronzer (I used a MAC Bronzer)

-Blush (I used MAC Mineralized Blush in Gentle)

________________________________________________________

*Step 1: Apply your tinted moisturizer/BB/CC Cream to already moisturized skin (your product will glide on better if it has a moisturized surface to stick to)

*Step 2: Using your damp beauty sponge apply your foundation to the areas of your skin where you'd like additional coverage

*Step 3: Set high points of face/spots where oil control are an issue with the translucent powder

*Step 4: Use bronzer to add dimension and summer color back into your skin

*Step 5: Add your favorite blush to the apples of your cheeks

*Step 6: Finish your eyes, brows, and lips like normal

That's it! Short and sweet! Please let me know what other tips and tricks you'd like me to film and write step-by-step instructions for, I'd love to do this again!
